Carriage Square at Gainey Village HOA
Halloween 2020 Guidelines – Carriage Square HOA
Trick or treating begins at 6PM!
For passing out candy:
Please remain outdoors to pass out candy. Leaving a bucket outside is also an option. Leave your patio light on to indicate you are participating. Children will not be ringing door bells/ knocking. We want to avoid opening of doors and indoor air rushing out into children’s faces.
Masks are very highly recommended when children are in the vicinity. You may remove your mask while waiting in between groups of children. Halloween is prime time to show off your creative mask making. Feel free to make masking part of your costume!
If you are not outside, or your patio light is not on (indicating a help-yourself bucket), trick or treaters should NOT approach your home.
Masks are very highly recommended for children aged 2 and older while taking candy. You may remove your mask while walking between houses. Masks are highly recommended at all other times when social distancing is not possible. Halloween is prime time to show off your creative mask making.
Feel free to make masking part of your costume!
Gloves are encouraged.
Regular hand sanitizing is very encouraged.
Wiping down candy at the end of the evening is recommended.
There will be no ringing of doorbells / knocking. If no one is outside at a home or the patio light is not on (indicating a help-yourself bucket), do NOT approach the home.
There is no pressure to participate. We understand this is a strange year and you may not feel comfortable taking part. Please avoid lighting any outdoor/ patio lights if you do NOT wish to participate.
